What differentiates Perspective? The people. We’re a close-knit team that finds joy in our work, collaborating with clients as well as each other.

David Shultz

Principal

David is a quick study when it comes to sizing up a client’s business problem and devising an innovative solution.

After 22 years working with some of the best people and clients in the business, David founded Perspective in 2011 to help Silicon Valley innovators elevate their brand and design experiences. Previously, he worked on behalf of clients across the Midwest for Minneapolis-based Larsen and went on to launch that firm’s Silicon Valley office in 1998. Over the next 13 years, he built a 12-person team and led them through successful engagements with leading Fortune 500 companies in financial, medical, technology and alternative energy markets. David prides himself on maintaining productive, long-term relationships with clients, many of whom have reenlisted Perspective’s services as they’ve moved into new positions.

David Molanphy

Creative Director

David believes that for design to be effective, it has to be honest, user-centered and exceptionally crafted.

With those principles in mind, he provides creative leadership at Perspective and directs the development of branding and digital strategies that solve complex business challenges. David has nearly two decades of experience working on a wide range of top-performing brands, including Applied Materials, Best Buy, Wells Fargo, Intel, US Bank, Andersen Windows, Feeding America, Gander Mountain, SanDisk, Thomson Reuters and Microsoft. David serves on the Professional Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin, Stout, and has a B.F.A. in Visual Communications from Brigham Young University, Idaho.

Susy Siddens

Senior Account Manager

Susy makes sure nothing falls through the cracks when it comes to delivering outstanding client service that exceeds expectations.

She loves fast-paced, detail-oriented work, which makes her perfectly suited to managing the studio’s workload and staying one step ahead of client needs. With a B.A. in History of Art, Design and Film, Susy began her career in museum exhibition work but shifted to marketing almost 20 years ago. After seven years at 1185 Design, she joined Larsen as an account executive and, later, was an account manager at Duarte before joining Perspective. Her clients have included Applied Materials, Charles Schwab, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Adobe, Abgenix, SEMI, Core-Mark, View and Aligntech.

How we do it

1.

First, we take a complex idea, break it down to understand its parts and then connect the dots.

2.

Then, we review it from different points of view and develop strategy for bringing it to life.

3.

We hone the strategy by iterating through several concepts to test our approach.

4.

Finally, we zero in on a unique perspective to communicate the idea in a simple, engaging way.
